Summer Adventure Camp, MAY 2026

The 3-day summer camp of the Tatatis 8th East Bombay Scout Group along with the 68th East Bombay Guide Group was successfully held at the scenic destination of Nature Trails – Durshet, Khopoli. The camp was specially planned as an adventure and training camp for junior scouts and guides, combining learning with fun-filled outdoor experiences. The adventure part included variety of activities including ziplining, Burma Bridge, net climbing, archery, and ladder climbing, ensuring an exciting stay.

The camp included several exciting activities that encouraged teamwork, confidence, and discipline among the children. Since most participants were junior scouts, greater emphasis was given to scout training, test passing activities, and interactive games that helped them learn important scouting skills in an enjoyable manner.

One of the highlights of the camp was an early morning trek through the beautiful natural surroundings of Durshet. The fresh air and greenery made the experience memorable for all the campers.

As the summer heat was quite intense, most activities were thoughtfully conducted indoors to ensure the comfort and safety of the children like quizzes, art and craft, gadget making etc. The stay arrangements were comfortable, with campers accommodated in dormitories that encouraged bonding and group spirit. The food served during the camp was truly sumptuous and well appreciated by everyone. Campers enjoyed wholesome breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and evening snacks with tea every day. A swimming pool facility was also available at the campsite, and the children thoroughly enjoyed their swimming sessions, making the camp even more refreshing and exciting.

Overall, the camp was a perfect blend of adventure, learning, discipline, and fun, leaving the scouts and guides with wonderful memories and valuable experiences to cherish.
